Best Thai I've had in White Plains, and I've tried a few places. Lunch special is only $10 for chicken pad thai, and it comes with a salad. Nice touch dropping a mint leaf in my glass of water. Very friendly and accommodating servers. The atmosphere is nice, quiet. Overall a great place. I only gave it four stars because it's still not as good as Sukhothai up in Beacon, which is hands down the best Thai I have tasted. Someone mentioned small portions. I have no idea what they're talking about. I arrived hungry and left full. Sorry they don't supersize. Try McDonalds next time?
I snuck in about 15 minutes before closing time and they graciously served me... was greeted with who appeared to be the manager or owner. The waitress was amazingly kind, bringing out the extra hot condiment tray without me even asking. I had the Larb Gai (which wasn't exactly authentic, such as I didn't notice any roasted rice powder on top) *but* was uniquely tastful and I enjoyed it! My main entree was a vegetarian dish, seemed more like a Chinese dish, eggplant and mixed vegetables in bean sauce. The bean sauce seemed Thai though and not Chinese which was good. Extremely tasty -- loved it! Brought me refills on my diet coke without even asking... attentive service without being intrusive. They were very friendly to the other table of guests that were leaving as well... I need to go back and try some of the other menu choices. I forgot to mention that the ambiance and decor was perfect!
The place is decorated very nicely but it is extremely small-not like it is in the photos, and they played jarring jazz music, which I didn't care for...not the tranquil environment I was expecting. As far as the food, I thought it was quite pricey for what it was (the prices shown on the website have not been updated). You must pay for each item on the plate, and the portions are quite small. Entrees start at about $18, appetizer's are about $10, soup is around $8, desserts are around $9.....Even with a Groupon voucher, what we had cost quite a bit, and we left still a bit hungry. I would not have minded if the food was something special, but it simply wasn't. We have eaten at many Thai restaurants, but both agreed that this was not a place we'd have reason to come back to. Not sure why they advertise this as some kind of gourmet eatery-it isn't.
I've been coming here regularly for the past two years and I love it. The pad Thai is always cooked aldente and flavorfully and the papaya salad is fresh and delicious. Two thumbs up!
Best Thai food north of NY!
Our order was wrong and the food was way too seasoned with curry, ice cream had frozen bites
Service on the slower side but food it descent. The duck with fried rice noodles was one of my favorite.
We enjoy the food! Great Thai.
Loved the vibe! Great meal. Kevin was very helpful.
cozy, very good food and very good service. I will be returning here.
Pretty bad, it's been a while since I've come across a bad thai place. Who puts tomatoes in Thai Basil? Why was the PAD See ewe so weak with no flavor, and who put beans in Pad see ewe.
Small cozy awesome food..service was very good.
Yummy. I eat here on a rare occasion for lunch and I'm always happy with the service and decadent food.
The best Thai in Westchester I have had so far. If you want it spicy you have to ask. Their normal amount of spice is pretty calm but if you ask they will kick it up.
Wonderful experience when I brought my wife out there on a date night. Food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Especially enjoyed how the green curry was displayed. Taste held its own as the sweet and savory dish delighted our taste buds. Would recommend to anyone desiring a nice night out with your significant other!
It was a great restaurant my Dad and I found, and we had just landed in the Big Apple from Los Angeles. We got warmed up by a hearty fusion of chicken, vegetables, rice, and soup, and the waitress and Hispanic waiter were really nice.
Rice and curry were good. Service was excellent. There was a waiter named Kevin that kept us entertained, and went far and beyond to make sure we had a good dining experience. This place probably had the best fried ice cream I ever had. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it's a little pricier than usual Thai places.
Think twice is you are looking for authentic Thai or if you are hungry!Full price for almost half serving portion. Food tastes just ok, nothing special at all.
Food at this restaurant is the best Thai food I've had so far in Westchester. Makes me miss being in Bangkok.
We went with a Groupon for their lunch special but were disappointed by their lack of flexibility and poor service. They offered a soup with lunch but would not substitute their chicken broth based soup for a vegetarian one nor would they offer us a vegetarian appetizer since all their soups were made with a chicken broth. Additionally, the flavor of the food was bland. We will not return.
Amazing food, super friendly staff, and the decor is perfect. Romantic atmosphere making it great for a date night.
Absolutely delicious in every way.
The food. The people, The music, THE FOOD!
Excellent Thai
We have with a group of 3 people and ordered appetizers, vegetable entrees and thai red curry with shrimp. Shrimp was very little and gravy was tasteless. This place is definitely NOT authentic for Thai food. Service was average and Ambience was good!!!
Simply the best Thai restaurant in the area. Outstanding food and service, delicious everytime! Worth the pricing... The Tom Yum Goong is outstanding
